Li v. Gill, 2020 BCSC 1298. Counsel for the defendants in a personal injury matter arising from a motor vehicle accident. The plaintiff sought damages in excess of $800,000. Successful cross-examinations of the plaintiff and her husband led the court to conclude that “they have demonstrated to this Court that they are prepared to mislead the Court to further [the plaintiff’s] case.” The court ultimately awarded less than $100,000 in damages.
