BIOGRAPHY

Based in Kelowna and Vancouver, Bob is a highly experienced litigation lawyer with a focus on insurance law, commercial litigation and complex personal injury claims. Bob has appeared at all levels of courts in British Columbia and he has conduct of litigation in Alberta. He provides a wide range of advice and representation to local, Canadian and International based clients.

Bob has extensive experience in a wide spectrum of insurance, transportation and product liability matters.  He handles aviation, motor vehicle, rail, and trucking related matters that involve product liability, property damage, passenger, personal injury and cargo claims. Bob defends disability insurance claims involving contractual disputes and damage claims.   Bob regularly provides insurance coverage opinions and advice. In addition, he handles catastrophic and complex personal injury claims.  He has experience dealing with sports and recreation liability and regulatory matters. Bob has substantial experience dealing with fire and flood claims.  He also provides advice concerning business disputes and class actions.

Bob is a dedicated advocate for his clients’ best interest and he regularly assists clients in alternate dispute resolution processes. In addition to his extensive mediation experience, he has completed the Harvard University Law School mediation program.

Bob earned his law degree from the University of Alberta and has been practising law in British Columbia for over 25 years. Prior to this, he obtained an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University and then worked as a commercial pilot. He was a partner at a large national law firm before joining Eyford Partners.
