Based in Kelowna and Vancouver, Bob is a highly experienced litigation lawyer with a focus on insurance law, commercial litigation and complex personal injury claims. Bob has appeared at all levels of courts in British Columbia and he has conduct of litigation in Alberta. He provides a wide range of advice and representation to local, Canadian and international based clients.
Bob has extensive experience in a wide spectrum of insurance, transportation and product liability matters including litigation involving aviation, motor vehicle, railway, trucking, heavy equipment, pharmaceuticals, building mechanical and structural systems, fire and flood loss accidents. Bob defends disability insurance claims on behalf of an insurance company involving insurance policy disputes and claims for damages. Bob regularly provides insurance coverage opinions and advice. In addition, he handles catastrophic and complex person injury claims. He has experience dealing with sports and recreation liability and regulatory matters. He also provides advice concerning commercial disputes and class actions.
Bob is a dedicated advocate for his clients’ best interest and he regularly assists clients in alternate dispute resolution. In addition his extensive mediation experience, he has completed the Harvard University Law School mediation program.
Bob earned his law degree from the University of Alberta and has been practicing law in British Columbia for over 28 years. Prior to this, he obtained an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University and then worked as a commercial pilot. He was a partner at a large national law firm before joining Eyford Partners.
