Kaelyn Fountain is a Vancouver-based civil litigation lawyer, focusing on employment, municipal, construction, and Aboriginal law. Her client base includes corporations, First Nations, societies, municipalities, and individuals. Kaelyn is known for her dedicated approach to providing strategic, client-focused representation, guided by her commitment to achieving the best possible results in every case.
Kaelyn has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, and the Civil Resolution Tribunal. Her ability to develop compelling and persuasive arguments, along with her astute attention to detail, has made her a strong adversary in court and an effective negotiator in alternative dispute resolution methods.
Before joining Eyford Partners, Kaelyn worked at a full-service employment law firm. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where she also earned a certificate in Indigenous Cultural Competency. During law school, she volunteered with several legal clinics, including with the Law Students Legal Advice Program and a Wills Clinic through Pro Bono Students Canada. She also provided academic support to students as a peer tutor, and worked as a research assistant, studying employment law in Canada as it relates to migrant workers.
