Eyford Partners Files Court Challenge to City of Vancouver’s Vacancy Tax Bill

Eyford Partners LLP filed a petition in BC Supreme Court challenging a $128,310 vacancy tax imposed by City of Vancouver. Ryan W. Parsons represents a Vancouver resident seeking an extension of time to challenge the onerous vacancy tax imposed on him by the City for 2017. The City denied him an extension and the owner is seeking to set aside that decision on the basis that the City breached its duty to treat him fairly in its consideration of his extension request.
