Christopher A. Schuld and Mark Tweedy Presented to Representatives of BC new home warranty providers on 14 June 2017

On June 14, 2017, Mr. Schuld and mediator Mark Tweedy co-presented to representatives of every BC new home warranty provider on the topic of “Mediating Warranty Claims” described as follows:

This one and a half hour course covered a variety of topics relating to mediating warranty claims, including a review of the Homeowner Protection Act and Notice to Mediate Regulation, preparing for mediation, engaging insureds in the mediation process, developing a negotiation strategy, drafting mediation briefs, selecting a mediator. It will also include practice tips from an experienced mediator and counsel on achieving successful outcomes at mediations of warranty disputes.
